How to Evolve Primeape into Annihilape in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet bring back classic Pokemon and introduce new ones. Fans of Mankey and Primeape were excited to learn they'd be in the game. Primeape now has a third evolution, Annihilape, making it like other three-evolution Pokemon.

Annihilape is a Ghost type Pokemon filled with rage. It transcended its physical form to become a Ghost type. Players can easily evolve Primeape into Annihilape.

The game seems to focus on unique evolution conditions instead of just leveling up. This is similar to Pokemon Legends: Arceus, where some Pokemon evolve by using certain moves.

To evolve Primeape into Annihilape, players need to use the move Rage Fist 20 times. Primeape learns this move at level 35. Since Rage Fist has only 10 PP, players need to rest at a Pokemon Center at least once. After using the move 20 times, Primeape evolves into Annihilape when it levels up.

Annihilape gains the Ghost typing after evolving, making Rage Fist more powerful. The move's power increases by 50 each time Annihilape is hit in battle. This makes Rage Fist a strong move, especially if Annihilape can take hits.

This evolution is an interesting change for the Mankey line. It shows how rage can transform a Pokemon into something unexpected. Annihilape is a great addition to any Pokemon team in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
