During our first Community Livestream of the year, we unveiled what's in store for Halo Infinite and shared details on the third year of the Halo Championship Series (HCS).

Halo Infinite's next free update, Content Update 29 (CU29), is set to launch on January 30. This update will introduce a new Arena map, a Covenant object palette with new Forge features, a new armor core, customization rewards, and the first of three free Operations, beginning with the Halo Wars-themed "Spirit of Fire,"
Keep an eye on Halo Waypoint for a closer look at some of the key elements of this update in the coming days.
Looking ahead, we confirmed that several player-requested features are in active development, including "Match Composer" functionality for matchmaking, new ways to earn past customization content, an updated networking model, and a new anti-cheat initiative.
We'll have more details to share on these updates as they approach release. For now, we're excited to see what the team has in store for later this year.
